Les is Faculty Member at Seoul Academy for International Arbitration 2017

Along with leading international arbitrators, Les was a panelist on three panels to include (1) an Overview of Changes in International Arbitration Rules and Procedures, (2) Drafting the Redfern Schedule and Advocacy on Documents Production and (3) Helpful Tips and Guidelines for Practitioners in Advocacy on Jurisdiction. The program was conducted on November 10th and 11th.

Les at Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration

Les along with Silicon Valley Arbitration and Mediation Center colleague, Gary Benton, participated in a roundtable discussion at the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration on November 8th. The roundtable discussion centered on international arbitration issues related to disputes in the technology sector. In addition to Les and Gary, participants were senior officials at the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration along with private practice practitioners in Shenzhen.

The previous evening Les was a speaker at a Hong Kong International Arbitration Center program. The presentation topic was “Practical Dispute Resolution with US Technology Companies.”

Les as moderator for Stanford Law School and SVAMC panel discussion

Stanford Law School and the Silicon Valley Arbitration & Mediation Center organized an event Thursday evening on the evolving use of international arbitration and mediation as leading dispute resolution methods in the global marketplace and technology sector. Les moderated a panel discussion for the program on “The Challenges Facing In-House Counsel in International Technology Disputes.” Panel members included Malissia Clinton from The Aerospace Corporation, Roger Kennedy from The Walt Disney Company and Timothy Teter from NVIDIA.
