On Friday, January 17, 2020, the second annual Schiefelbein Global Dispute Resolution Conference was held at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in Phoenix. The Conference convened top lawyers, counsel for global corporations, internationally-recognized arbitrators and mediators, academics, and leaders at arbitration institutions to engage in discussions on timely issues in international dispute resolution.
The keynote lecture, “Investor State Arbitration: Smart Remedies and Bold Practices,” was delivered by international arbitrator and attorney Ucheora Onwuamaegbu, PhD, of Arent Fox in Washington, DC. The list of Conference topics can be found HERE.
